Compare And Contrast Dubuque And Caxville
Dubuque, Iowa V.s. Cassville, Wisconsin

I have spent most of my childhood living between Dubuque, Iowa and Cassville, Wisconsin. My family always had a place set up in a small trailer park in the small town of Cassville. My parents use to take my sister and I there on the weekends. My dad always said it would be our "getaway" from Dubuque. The town itself was about only two miles wide. It's such a small town, everybody knows each other there and there's always a friendly face wherever you go.

The Mississippi river runs through both Dubuque and Cassville. But from my experience, the river is rarely used in Dubuque. Unlike Cassville, where you see people around every corner fishing, water skiing, tubing, or just people siting along the shoreline

Their high school has everything similar to that of senior. They have football, soccer, track, and many more activities just like ours. On the weekends, my sister and I use to go over to the baseball field and play baseball with a couple of friends that lived around the area.

Things that I really enjoy about Dubuque and Cassville are the parks. Both Cassville and Dubuque have parks filled with families and friends. On a sunny warm day, the parks are the place everyone goes to be with families and hang out with friends. With Dubuque I would have to get a ride from my mom or a friend to go to the park. But in Cassville I would always ride my bike across town with my friends to go to the park.

One thing I enjoy more about Cassville are the people. The people are much friendlier in Cassville. With it being a small town like that, everybody knows each other. People in Dubuque are not all that kind to each other. I think since Dubuque is a bigger town, people don’t have the opportunity to get to know one and other. In Cassville, no matter where you go or who you know. Everyone greets you with a smile and a friendly wave. That’s one thing I feel Dubuque will never

First of all, having a Hospital in Wapello would be way faster to get to. For example, if a mother is in labor and needed to get to the hospital immediately, she would have to drive all the way to Burlington or Muscatine. In another case If a boy got hurt, you could just drive 5 minutes instead of 25. As you can see a hospital would be a good idea.…

I have lived in Mandeville, Louisiana – a waterfront city north of New Orleans – my whole life. Mandeville and New Orleans rest on opposing sides of Lake Pontchartrain, a brackish body of water known for its brown-grey hues and occasional corpse. Bisecting the lake is a 24 mile long bridge that once held the Guinness World Record for the longest bridge over water, dubbed the Causeway, which provides a 40-minute drive from one city to the other. Mandevillians will tell you they are from New Orleans. In fact they will insist upon it. Do not let them fool you. Mandeville is a haven for the affluent, with good schools and low crime rates and clean streets. Despite being in the New Orleans Metropolitan Area, it is the very antithesis of New Orleans.…

To begin with, Stonecreek did not have nearly as much responsibilities as high school does. At Stonecreek there wasn’t nearly as much homework and projects that you had to complete. There was so much less that you had to do. Another thing is that at junior high, if u were failing, the teachers would make you come and get help. But at high school, if you are not doing well in a class, you have to be the one to find help and tutors.…

Fall in Knoxville is perhaps the highlight of the year simply for one reason, Saturdays. Whenever the University of Tennessee’s football team is playing at home 108,000 fans are going to the game spending millions of dollars. There is nothing better than watching a home victory and then going out in downtown Knoxville. Not only that but also the fans of the opposing team that rent hotels and go out to eat for every meal. At least a couple thousand of people that aren’t even from Knoxville. All the various restaurants and night life attract all walks of life. Similarly, in Naples hundreds of thousands of people move down every winter to Southwest Florida for “season”. I have been through season for the past…

Underlining humor is especially important in making this play a success. Several plays, I believe, either have zero humor or too much. “Our Town” has a great combination of both. A lot of the humor is a “hit or miss” meaning that the punchlines don't just come out and slap you. I really appreciate Wilder for implementing this into the play.…

In my previous school the campus was really small and the teachers were always constly telling the students to do their homeowork or they would have to stay after school and also if their grade went down to a D or F. In my previous school we had to wear uniforms. The classes I took were hard and some were easy, my favorite classes were art class and music history. I kearned how music started and were it came from and also how to express my feelings through art. I would play basket ball afterschool but I didn't join any sport.
