The level of responsibility from junior high to high school has increased drastically. To begin with, Stonecreek did not have nearly as much responsibilities as high school does. At Stonecreek there wasn’t nearly as much homework and projects that you had to complete. There was so much less that you had to do. Another thing is that at junior high, if u were failing, the teachers would make you come and get help. But at high school, if you are not doing well in a class, you have to be the one to find help and tutors. The teachers are only going to help you if you are the person that goes and asks for the help. At Stonecreek, they were very strict and us students were allowed little to no freedoms. However, there is a lot more freedom at Ridgeview. For instance, at Stonecreek, we were not even allowed to step on the grass. Whereas at Ridgeview, there is nothing wrong with it. At high school we can also choose which classes are right for us. The gives us the free reign to choose which class levels are right for us. This was not the case at junior high.
