Jake Curry and Logan James were both 14-year-old kids living in San Francisco California. Jake was an average height with Blonde messy hair and bright ocean blue eyes. He worked out every day and was without a doubt the strongest boy in his grade. Jake attracted kids from other schools to his football games with his incredible moves and catches. Other than football Jake was known for his Impeccable personality. He was easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor. Everyone either loved Jake or wanted to be his best friend, While Logan was quite different.

When Jake woke up he went straight to the gym in his basement. It was Saturday and he needed to prepare for the championship game tomorrow. He practically ran the whole time, but lifted too. It was around lunchtime when he finished. Jake needed to rest so he slept the entire afternoon.
He set his alarm to 7:00 so he could make it to the team sleepover in it time. Their team had a pre-game ritual where they would sleepover at someone on the football teams house. The team started doing it when they found out it was lucky. Every Time they have done it, they have won. He got dropped off at the house around 8:00. The house was on the water and their family had jet skis, paddle boat, boats, tubes and more. Jake saw everyone including Logan. They all ate pasta and then went to bed. Jake was one of the last people to go to bed and realized that when he was falling asleep Logan was still wide

This is not fair.” Jake screamed in pain. All around him was ocean. It was a very cloudy night and no stars could be seen. There was the smallest bit of land that far behind the ship. Jake started paddling toward it. At this rate, he would miss the game. It was way to heavy so Jake had to think of a more efficient way to get home in time, but thought of nothing. Jake was super mad because he had been waiting to play in the championship game his whole life. After 30 minutes of just lying in the boat getting and getting bombarded with water Jake thought of something. Jake remembered there was an insane number of sharks where he lived so he couldn't swim. He tore up the boat leaving the bottom so he could paddle board home. This worked because if he wanted to take a break he could without getting torn to shreds, it was less than half the weight, and it drifted with the wind. After two hours of paddling and drifting Jake was in a distance where he could actually swim. It was 3:30 AM and with luck Jake could make it back at 4:00

In the middle of my drawing is the most important part of the whole story of Jake, Reinvented. It is a picture of Jake and Didi being “in love.” This is the main disillusionment of the whole story because Jake is pretending to be something he is not just so that he can finally be with the girl that he has loved since middle school. He finally gets to be with her, but the catch is that she has a boyfriend that is the star football player, Todd. Didi ends up falling for Jake just because he is becoming so popular and she thinks it will make her look better, but the truth is, she will never leave Todd no matter what. IN the picture, Jake is wearing a football jersey that represents his role on the school’s football team. Jake and Didi are both thinking of things…

In retaliation, Johnny calls Mazursky's boss, claiming to be Jake's parole officer, and tells the boss that Mazursky has been getting in trouble breaking into houses and using speed. As a result Mazursky loses his job and only other means of income. As an ex-con, Jake's chances of finding another job are slim, and he becomes furious with Johnny. After the death, reporters rushed to hear words from his family and die-hard fans. One reporter gathered from Jake's mother, "Jake was truly an inspiration to all of us and he will be very missed." "Jake inspired me to be an actor," Jake's brother said sobbing, "and look at me now; I'm worth millions but now I feel like shit." "Jake was the type that motivated his fans and inspired them to live to the fullest,” Jake's manager reported. "He transformed negative people into positive people instantly. In the beginning, Jake appears to be totally disconnected and alienated from the natural environment. He can't relax because he is afraid of it and views it as something dangerous that needs to be tamed by humans. When he starts living with the Na'vi and is taught their ways, he has difficulty assimilating. As Neytiri points out in their first encounter, Jake's alienation from nature makes him "ignorant like a child" (Avatar) and unable to appreciate and live in the natural environment. However, he slowly changes and finally becomes part of nature's network. The change starts from the outside and slowly moves to the inside. He first changes on the surface, that is a change of the body, but soon Jake feels an internal confusion. He is not sure in which world he belongs and who he really is. He admits that he can barely remember his old life and that the Na'vi's world seems more authentic. He finally realizes the energy that exists in nature and learns to appreciate every living organism. He admits that he has fallen in love with the forest and with the Na'vi's way of living. He even reaches to the point of fighting against humans to protect Pandora's natural environment and the Na'vi's way of life. Jake is transformed from a contemporary individual…

Jake, narrates this story. Throughout the novel, Jake is sarcastic and cynical; this makes him an unlikeable character, so much so that the reader has doubts he can overcome the troubles in his life. However, this is a key element of his character. What Hemingway did in this novel was, and still is, ingenious. Another theme that the novel portrayed was the focus on the process, not the outcome. Suffering from PTSD, Jake needed to overcome his stressful situation. Since one of his interests was fishing, he went on fishing trips to experience it. Jake did not go to catch fish, he went in order to heal himself. Jake takes the readers on the fishing trip with…

Evolution is the change in genetic composition of organisms between generations. Evolution is the process that results in organisms becoming more varied and better adapted in comparison to their ancestors. The driving force of evolution is natural selection. Natural selection is the process where individuals containing specific traits become more likely to survive compared to individuals without those traits. Because certain individuals have a greater chance to survive, they become more likely to reproduce yielding offspring that contain the same favored characteristics. As this occurs, the number of individuals with preferred traits become more abundant while the population of individuals without these traits begins to decrease, possibly even reaching the point of complete elimination.…
