Question: Compare and contrast attitudes towards students working part time in your country and in the U.S.A. Use specific examples and provide appropriate evidence to explain your answer.
Part-time jobs now is very common for students in many countries, we can see a lot of job websites can offer various part time job for students, but there are some differences between different countries, especially China. The report will talk about part time job and compare and contrast the difference between Chinese and American students’ part time job. From my research, working while studying in school will become a precious memory.
Why? Because there are lots of benefits of part time job, like enrich students campus life, apply students ’ knowledge, bring more balance to students life, benefit feature job hunting and so on. I summed up the following points:
Firstly, working can save for college or even to supplement family income. In America, parents don’t paying child support when their children are at the age of eighteen or above, so lots of students have to rely on part-time income to pay for tuition fees or save for college. In China, there are some students who in financial difficulty families have to work after their class to support their family.
Secondly, college often favor toward students who have part time work experiences, because working can teach students about responsibility and something that they can’t learn at school. First of all, you can learn specialty knowledge which are associates with your work, and put them into practice. It’s a good chance to improve your social skill through working with others; you will learn the concept of time, team spirit, and work attitude and so on. All the experience can be drew when you are in college or
