Knights’ armor had many layers for protection, but all these layers weighed over 100 pounds. These Knights would have more trouble moving and walking around which gave the Samurai's a chance to come and slice them to death. The Samurai's and the Knights were equal as much honorable but Samurai's armor represented more than just war and protection, their armor was its spirit of the warrior in the traditional Japanese culture. Even Though, the Knights had layers and layers of armor for protection, the Samurais had an armor that was protective and weighed less (it consisted a body protector, a helmet, a protective shell which included a breastplate, a backplate and an iron mask).
