Compare And Contrast Stormy Weather By Lena Horne

After a difficult decision, out of the three unique and wonderful versions of Stormy weather, my favorite version was none other than the original version by Lena Horne. Lena feels the song when she sings it, she knows what it is like to be heartbroken and she portrays that in her song. Lena also makes you feel the song, she reminds you of the time you once had your heartbroken. The flow of the music is natural, it goes together well and does not sound broken up. My second favorite was the version done by Royal Crown Revue. I liked the jazzy upbeat music, it made me want to get up and dance. Although I enjoyed the music I did not feel that the song was about a heartbreak. Lastly the version by Reigning Sound was my least favorite, I did not
care for the loud music where I could not understand the music when the song is supposed to be a heartfelt song, It completely missed the point of the song for me.
