Compare And Contrast The Great Gatsby
The story of The Great Gatsby has a man named Gatsby in it. He was a rich man who lived next door to Nick Carraway. Gatsby had parties every Friday that would last all weekend. Nick was in the bond business along with the rest of his family. They both lived in West Egg. Nick lived between two big houses. Daisy Buchanan was cousins with Nick. Daisy’s husband had bought ponies. Nick liked Daisy's friend Jordan and she did not want to talk to Nick. Tom was cheating on Daisy with Myrtle Wilson who was married to George Wilson. Through the viewing of both versions of The Great Gatsby ,it is revealed that they have some obvious similarities, but the differences between the two films are much more distinct. There was 2 moves and that one was don on the 90s and the other one on 2014.
Daisy was having an affair with Gatsby and the only one how now about them was Nick. Daisy was getting pressured and she ended wanting to go back home but on the way home daisy was upset and wasn’t looking where she was going and myrtle was running out of her house cus she thought that the car was time.
In both versions of the film ,there were many characteristics and events that were extremely similar. In both of the movies, the men wore suits and the women wore dresses. Gatsby and Daisy lived across from each other.. Gatsby and Daisy were always hitting on each other and arguing. Both of the movies took place in New York. Myrtle Wilson got hit by a car in both of the movies. There houses are right next to the a lake and Gatsby both the hows to be right across of days.and daisy's husband was a football player when he was young.
In the 1974 film version of The Great Gatsby, there were numerous differences in comparison to the 2013 film. The 1974 movie had no graphics and had different actors. The 1974 movie had a lot of different things going on, but it had older cars. The whole movie is so different because the color contrast makes things less colorful.the scene where they were going to fight was the same as the older move.and the port where they kill Gatsby the man took out a gun and shot

In the 2013 film version of The Great Gatsby, there were numerous differences in comparison to the 1974 film. The new move had a lot of things that were different it had different actors and they did not all act the same way they did on the 1974. The move had different cars,different actors and different cars. The actors are all different and i think that the hole story was different. The parties were all different.the store is so different than the other story cus a bunch of different things happen in the story.
After viewing both movies, it is obvious that the new move is the better of the two movies. The new move had no sense but it had better graphics. The story is different in the new move i just think its better. The cars in the move are different from the old move more modern.
