Individuals do what benefits them and many work for themselves. In return, they do provide jobs for others, but are often exploited by low wages and unfair working conditions. Many citizens enjoy the freedom of being who they want to be and having the career they wish to have. Individualism provides immense opportunities for individuals and allows for advancement in a variety of fields. The government of the United States prides itself on allowing individuals freedom, but provides little help for those in poverty. Due to big corporations driving the economy and society, there are little taxes in place for public services.
