Comparing Disney's Beauty And The Beast

Beauty and the beast You would be surprise in all of the similarity and differences in beauty and the beast original story and the Disney version of beauty and the beast. For example, the family of belle and her father job, and beauty being the kind person she is taking her father’s place as prisoner, of course how the beast almost died. One of the similarity to this classic fairy tale beauty and the beast, is the love belle had for the beast that broke the spell. In the original story, there was once a very rich merchant , who had six kids three girls and three boys. The two eldest sister had “great deal of pride”, because they were wealthy. After the merchant lost all of his money the three sons applied themselves to husbandry and tillage. In the other hand Disney versions son was not like that at all. Maurice belle’s dad was an inventor who only had one child who was belle. The merchant got lost in a large forest. He heard howling all around him. Then he saw some type of light in the distance when he looked closer it was a palace. He had stayed there till the next day. He took a rose for
his daughter belle who had ask him for one before he left. The beast came to him and said “I have saved your life by receiving you into my castle and in return you steal my rose which I value beyond anything in the universe, but you shall die for it” and the merchant said it was for his daughter. The beast said he will let him go in trade of his daughter when the merchant came back he told his children about the terrifying beast. And belle of course belle volunteer to trade his place as prisoner. In the movie once again almost a whole different plot happened. Maurice left town to go to his science convention and got lost in the forest then wolves started to chase him and his horse left him and ran back home. Maurice went inside the gate of the castle to get away from the wolves since it was so cold outside he enter the castle not knowing what will greet him inside. The horse came back to the house and belle got worried her dad didn't come back. The horse then took her where her dad stayed. After belle realized what happen, she insisted to let her take her dad’s place. Belle went back to the country, meanwhile the beast was devastated. Belle could not help reflecting on herself for the sadness she may of caused beast. So she returned to the palace at the last “wished for hour came” the clock turned nine the beast never came. Belle then worried that she was the reason for the beast death. She found beast in the garden on the floor.rhen belle confesses her love for the beast and ask him to marry her. Disney version is very different. All the men in the town went to “kill the beast”. While her and her father are trapped in a bunker soon they got out and hurry to the castle to warn beast. When belle arrived Gastón and beast were fighting. Gastón stabbed beast on the back, beast pushed him off the castle. Belles confirms her love for him and then he becomes human. Finally, something similar from the original beauty and the beast and the Disney version.
In both story a witch cast a spell on the prince so he can learn a lesson the spell made him into a hideous monster. The only way he can break the spell if he loves (marry) a girl and she loves him back. When belle proved her love to the beast the palace sparkle with lights and firework, instruments. And the beast turn into the “loveliest prince that eye ever beheld. In conclusion I was really surprised in all of the similarity and differences between the original beauty and the beast and the Disney beauty and the beast. Belle family and her father job, belle doing what's right and taking her dad’s place as prisoner, and of course the they my that almost led beast to his death. And the similarity being the lovely belle breaking the spell that was cast on the
beast.
