With everything he did whether it was creating light or liking someone a little bit more than another he only had good intentions. Prometheus just rebelled silently. He worked on his creation in silence and alone. He adored Gaea when no one else was around and he never told anyone that he liked thought someone was more friendly than another person. In “Civil Disobedience” it shows pictures of many heroes from different times in history such as Rosa Parks or even Korean protesters. Prometheus is similar to these heroes because he also rebelled. Maybe not in the same way a all of them but he did. By him rebelling he was able to start a new life with Gaea. He wants to be a hero for his kids and he wants to create a new world for them where there is the word “I”.
In conclusion, if Prometheus found “Self-Reliance” and “Civil Disobedience” he would have enjoyed both essays and he would have been able to relate to them. He would have gained so much knowledge from the essays and he would have learned that everything that he did was okay. He is the only one that could have said something was wrong and no one could tell him different. The essays would have been very good for him to read and he could find himself within the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau. It would be a very good experience for him and his
