Growing up in the Hoosier state, my favorite sport has always been basketball. I remember learning to shoot my first basket on my Little Tyke goal when I was four years old. In grade school I played basketball, football, and baseball. I did really well at all three and they just came natural to me. In high school I stopped playing baseball and focused only on basketball and football. Again, I did really well in both. I was the youngest player to start varsity in each sport. I was a starting forward in basketball and started at tight end in football. I went to a catholic school that was recognized for their high level of academic and athletic achievements. Despite all the time I devoted to athletics, I still did very well in school. My school had always done well in football so it made it hard for a basketball player to get noticed on our schools team. Therefore, I decided to try out for one of the top Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) teams in the state. It
