Content In Times Of Trouble And Radley
I think this quote is really showing how even in times of trouble or in times where you are afraid there has to be someplace where you can fit in time for yourself. You need to have time to be content to be on your full game or to be completely focused. Polestar you Bradley has been very eager to find her parents. Even in times of trouble or Radley did not know where her parents were she found ways to be content and at peace. I think this quote is important because it's a thing sample for our generation. We need times of content in times of where in trouble. That's why think this stuck out to me so

In the letter from Scout to Jem, we see Scout's’ point of view and how she feels. It shows that she is sad that Boo gave them so much and they did not give him anything in return like a good neighbor should have. To convey this, a flowery background symbolizes a neighbor's job to look after one another and the items in the pouch exhibits what Scout and Jem were given I feel that this establishes a feeling of growing maturity because the flowery background also symbolizes the growth of a young girl at the stage of coming of age experiences were a young bud becomes a flower not yet too old to shine like glitter which reveals that pouch holding items is like the pouch of a mother kangaroo because they hold their young in that pouch and Boo cares…

This quote is important because it allows me to understand the similar perspective that Matthew Antoine and Grant Wiggins have on what it is like for A black man in the south. Matthew seemed to have regretted staying in the south and not being anything or anybody there. Grant however, struggles with whether or not to stay or escape his roots and home. Both of the men appear to be bitter and cynical of the way they are treated unfairly. This Piece of advice was given to grant by his old teacher, before he died.…

This portrays that by Bradbury adding this, we can see that all people knew about fires was that they happened because a book was involved but they never understood the tragedy of them. Therefore, the quotes used express the final reasoning standing alone is just as good as standing together and sometimes better because they both describe how no matter what other people think, people should always do what they think is right and to actually understand the real meaning of things.…

The quote I have chosen is, “Success consists of going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm”. This is one of Winston Churchill's most well known quotes. This quote was said during his reign as the Prime Minister of Great Britain. It is unknown as to where this quote came from but I found it to be very captivating. I feel like Churchill is trying to get the point across that in life it is normal to not be perfect. Everyone makes mistakes and each failure shapes you as a person. Churchill is saying that if you put your mistakes in the past without changing who you are, it makes you stronger and more successful than someone who fails to do so. Being afraid of failure gets you nowhere in life so Churchill is stating that everyone should strive with great enthusiasm in order to be their best self.…

    (R) This quote relates to the theme of overcoming obstacles which is continuous throughout the memoir. This passage also demonstrates how humans are competitive in almost everything. He goes as far as to say that “no race can prosper till it learns that there is as much dignity in tilling a field as in writing a poem,” and I think this is significant at a time when many Blacks could not get jobs other than these common occupations. He is saying that people should not only be content, but that they should do the best they can with what they have and embrace…

In this journal, I will be predicting that they will not meet Boo Radley. One reason I think that they will not meet him is because he is locked up. The first reason I know he is locked up is that the kids have never seen him. They have not seen him, but people say that he exists. The second reason I believe he is locked up is because he does not go to church or socialize with anyone. One Sundays the doors and shutters on his house are always closed which usually means cold weather or sickness. He also doesn’t socialize with anyone, which is something that is taboo in Maycomb Alabama. The last reason I know Boo Radley is locked up is because the sheriff locked him in the courthouse basement. The sheriff did not want to lock him up with all the Negroes in the jail so he locked him up in the courthouse basement, and later he was transferred to his own house but he is still locked up. Another reason I think they will not meet Boo Radley is…

The central conflict in my memoir was, moving to Bulgaria. The internal conflict I faced was the fear of moving to a different continent. ¨A hard feeling punched my stomach. I was overwhelmed with emotions of, anger, agony, despair, confusion, but the biggest feeling that I persistently felt, was fear. Fear that I wouldn’t be able to learn to read and write, fear of not fitting in, and fear that I will never get to see Aspen again¨ (5). I chose this quote because it explains the fears that I had and the outlook on the moving situation (describes the internal…

This quote “If you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere.” I think that this quote means certain people’s dream come true, because Imagine living life without any problems, Imagine finding success without having to face failure. Imagine what such a life would be. I think this quote holds the truth of life. Of course, not having to run into mistakes would be a dream come true for me. But at the same time, it would also be my own dreadful loss an obstacle, failures, mistakes, every single challenge one encounters happens for a reason. A “path with no obstacles” is not natural. Whether everyone thinks, obstacles are necessary in everyone’s path to succeed.…
