Buddhist refer to those who are believe in Buddha and go to temple for prayer every 1st and 15th of the month according to the lunar calendar. While Christians are refer to those who believe the existence of Jesus Christ and believe in Him. Christian will go for Sunday worship once a week to worship the God, Jesus Christ and learn lesson from His life through the story which is recorded in the Holy Bible.
Me, as a child being born from a traditional Chinese family, is a Buddhist since I am born but somehow, I believed in Jesus and got baptized by Pastor Vincent and I am now a Christian. According to what I have been told by my mother, I am actually quite a good kid when I am still in kindergarten. But as I grew up, I become more and more rebellious. When I was in high school, I was further intensified. There, I finished my first year in a Chinese independent high school at my hometown and my parents decided to take me out from the school and sent me to a home school which is very far away from my hometown that is in charge by a local church and I need to live with kinds of people from all over Malaysia.
Since young, I was grown up in a fully Buddhist family. But at the new school, I need to integrate to a new life with Christian all around me. I learn to read the Holy Bible, learn how to cook, how to clean the place I live and learn how to become a better man. These are what I had never learn in my life before. At the first week, I called my mum and I begged her to bring me back since I felt too exhausted with the life there. But at last, I lived there for a year and my parents were very satisfied with my transformation from a rebellious son to an obedient son. Therefore, I told them I had been baptized and I am now a Christian. But I seldom went to church since I had got back to my hometown.
