Assignment Brief: A 3000 word essay which should demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the core model drawn from academic literature and referenced appropriately, using the Harvard referencing system. Your answer should include both a theoretical and practical understanding of how to apply the core model to a client who is suffering from depression or anxiety. The main principles/philosophical tenets on which CBT is based.
The key concepts/main features of CBT and how they can be used to understand individuals and work with issues, conditions and human behaviour.
