Cosmetic Surgery In 800.B.C. India, people’s desires to obtain beauty had resulted in a process, nose job. Cosmetic surgery was the result of human beings’ desires to be beautiful. Beauty was always important in society. The more beautiful you are, the more you will be admired. This value and the desire had brought the cosmetic surgery to this world, but the surgery had only recently become accepted by the public, so here the questions come. Should cosmetic surgery become more accepted or not? People are willing to take risks such as a shameful reputation or a deformed face of having cosmetic surgery, but for what purpose? There are different reasons why people are willing to take risks. Culture and society are one of the reasons people are willing to take the risk. Society has always valued beauty, and it is considered to be the necessary part of a success. The concept of “beauty” within the culture had driven people to desire for a greater beauty. People had always tried to make themselves look more beautiful by using make up or decorating themselves with expensive jewelry or clothes, but when they felt the limit and not satisfied by the result, they decided to take the cosmetic surgery for greater beauty. This concept of beauty within the society had driven people to do the cosmetic surgery. What other reasons will prompt people to take cosmetic surgery? Media can give you a great influence in your decision of whether or not to take the cosmetic surgery. Media can present the cosmetic surgery as such a fantastic thing to do. Some media convinced the people by saying “Cosmetic surgery boost confidence and vitality. There are so many advertisements about cosmetic surgery nowadays that people easily get interested in the cosmetic surgery just by seeing the procedure showed on TV. Advertisements also present it so well that it gives people unrealistic expectations in which people believe their lives will immediately change
