The Council for Exceptional Children The policies under The Council for Exceptional Children are that the teachers must follow the IDEA Law when dealing with exceptional children and their actions/behaviors. By using antecedent-based interventions; replacement behaviors; and consequence strategies, the students are more capable of being able to act/behave better.
National Association for School Psychologists The policies under the National Association for School Psychologists want to use prevention and intervention programs; changes to the classroom and the school environment; and educating/supporting both the parents and the teachers.

Association has a zero tolerance. Because of this, they designated “punishments” regarding specific violations. These punishments can include expulsion and/or suspension from school.
United Teaching Profession *would not open- stating that it needed a membership etc.
American Federation of Teachers The American Federation of Teachers use ongoing training and professional development that are associated with the district and school reform goals. They also use positive school discipline; positive conflict resolution; cultural relevancy; and equity.
