Creative Writing: Tom's Cabin

“Maddie, wake up, wake up!” I hear my little sister Haley scream from behind my door. “Haley, it's only 6:30 in the morning,” I moan. “I want to play before camp starts,” whines Haley. “Ok, I'll play with you, but camp starts at 9 am, so we have two and a half hours,” I say. I get up and I put on my red t-shirt, throw on some shorts, put on my blue shoes, and brush my hair and teeth. I go downstairs, and at the backdoor I see Haley and Maisy waiting for me. Maisy is my other little sister. Maisy and Haley are twins, and they are seven years old. We go outside to play a game of tag. After about an hour of tag we become hungry. We go inside and see our older brother Brian eating breakfast. He is fifteen years old. “I wish Brian wasn't coming to camp,” I
“Emily, Maddie, Emily, Maddie” I hear Lily and Lizzy say while running toward us.
“We’re in the same cabin, we’re in the same cabin,” they all say out of breath.
“We know,” we say together.
“Let’s go to our cabin,” I tell them. We went to our cabin. Our cabin was big, it had 8 beds, a bathroom, 4 mini tables and a bunch of other stuff.
Then we heard the camp counselors say “everybody come to the lake”. So we went to the lake and talked about the rules like don’t be rude and that kind of stuff.
But then she said, “There is a door in the Robin cabin that says don’t open and you must never open that door”.
“I wonder what’s in the door,” I tell Emily. I turned around to see what Emily said but she was not there.
“Emily?” I say. “Emily, where are you?”. I run to the cabin. When I go inside I see Emily staring at the door that says don’t open.
“Emily, what are you doing?” I ask her.
“It’s true, it’s true,” I hear her say.
“What’s true?” I ask her.
“The door,” she says. “My brother has told me some super spooky stories about this door but I never believed him,” she says.
“Should we go and find out if it he is telling the truth?” I ask.
