Criminal Justice Professional: Case Study
I believe effective communication and the delegation of task is what has resulted in my success as a criminal justice professional. In my opinion, managers and supervisors should ensure the effective communication of their staff and business partners. In order to do so, a superior must communicate the department’s mission in a clear and concise manner and follow up as necessary. Communication involves receiving your staff’s opinions and analyzing them for the best interest of the organization. However, a manager must follow her intuition for he is the leader of the organization and the end result is a reflection of her judgment. This generally means that managers must have confidence in their employees for they are generally first line support.
