Criticism Of The Welfare States In The 1920's
There has always been a lot of criticism on the welfare state. After the second world war some economists though that the rules and the interference of the government would make it that the people weren’t free to do what they wanted. The left winged parties in the sixties thought that the welfare state didn’t reach its goal because the economy was still growing unequally. The left winged parties came up with a few solutions for these problems: the social and cultural services needed an expansion and they needed to get financial support from the government, the poor people needed to get access to services and the citizens needed to get more intel in production organizations and government agencies and there needed to be more control on -------------

    The United States welfare system has been full of flaws since it was created. Some presidents such as Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton have pushed for some kind of welfare reform. In Regan’s “Welfare Reform” speech he called for a “reshape of our welfare system so that it can be judged by how many how many Americans it makes independent off welfare.” (President Ronald Reagan speaks on welfare reform).
