On the other hand, some families teach children interdependence during meal times rather than independence. My reaction to the first incident is that the Hispanic teenager is probably talking about something very funny that I would like to hear about and I am, therefore, likely to smile by trying to imagine what she is talking about.
My first instinct will be that probably the woman is Muslim or an Arab. Draping dresses and head scarf are greatly related to this community. Therefore, I am likely to associate her to these two communities.
My first reaction will be some little fear because a majority of this people is mostly associated with gangs, cartels or some cult. I will wish that the man does not come and sit next to me because my reaction if this happens will probably be to leave the restaurant and go.

Prejudice is described as a scenario where someone makes judgments about others without even getting to know them better. This is where, for example, someone will assume a person is Muslim just because he or she is from the Middle East. On the other hand, bigotry is the act of someone being intolerant to religions, ideas, or races. It is closely related to prejudice but bigotry is more negative and extremely discriminative to an extent it can result in negative consequences. I feel that this is the worst form of discrimination that people should learn never to engage in because we are all different. Everyone should learn to appreciate others because we have differences and that is the way the world was created. One of my passion and life goals is to live in a society where social equality is the goal of everyone.

For example, it allows people to seek others as individuals rather than as black or white. Therefore, it helps create positive connections among people from diverse backgrounds. Colorblindness is also an important way of helping people start conversations while addressing sensitive topics that might be full of guilt. Therefore, colorblindness can promote a society where people are distinguished by personality and character rather than by racial differences.
One main disadvantage of colorblindness is that it can result in people ignoring the differential experiences of people with diverse cultural backgrounds that, we otherwise need to learn about. Therefore, focusing solely on individual similarities can devalue the significance of individual and diverse group cultures. Ignorance of race can lead to people generalizations, stereotypes, and misunderstanding against other races.

Integrating justice while teaching is not an easy task at times given the numerous issues that have to be taken into consideration. Today, the learning environment is widely diverse and there are many issues that should be put into perspective. As educators, it is important to teach students from an early age about the importance of recognizing and appreciating cultural differences. Teachers can use negative statements by children to change their attitudes about others by correcting those statements to show children that everyone deserves to be treated fairly and equally.
