Current Market Conditions Competitive Analysis
Understanding an organization and its competitive forces, the success of unveiling a new product is determined by marketing and the need or demand for the product. Determining the current market conditions and the competitors requires comprehensive evaluation of the market conditions, supple, demand, and equilibrium prices. Our team has selected Google and its latest launch of Google glasses. Microsoft is Googles largest competitor since they have had numerous successful launches of several tablets, computers, laptops, etc. Microsoft’s HoloLens is said to be better than Googles Glasses with a potential successful release; based on Googles failed release of their glasses. There will also be recommendations on how the organization can maximize their profit-making potential along with other microeconomic principles.
Google was founded in 1998 by two gentlemen named Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Together they built their first search engine prior to 1998 originally called BackRub. Google was founded when Andy Bechtolsheim became a co-founder and donated money to start Googol. Over the course of the years, Google incorporated many things to improve Google as a search engine. Some things they created were do-it-yourself ads, to Gmail, creating a common stock market place on Wall Street, Google Maps and Google Earth, YouTube, Android, Google Chrome, Google+, and they newest thing about to launch is the Google glasses. Google has grown over the past several years to being in more than forty countries and having seventy offices. Google as a company hires people with determinations and knowledge, but they may not necessarily have experience. Google is known for being a perfect search engine; however, the goal is to make searching for the information you need as easy as possible, with the ability to get valuable information in return.
