What I think makes a great leader:
A great leader is someone who is determined, passionate towards their role as a leader. They are someone that others can look up to as a role model, inspiring others to take part or get involved in sports.
Communication is important as you have to try to explain things to people as you are met with a blank expression. Being able to clearly and succinctly describe what you have done is extremely important, if you can’t relate your vision to you team than you won’t all be working towards the same goal.
Confidence is important as the team not only see you as a leader but a role model. Assure everyone that setbacks are natural and the important thing is to focus on the larger goal. As the leader by staying calm and confident you will help keep the team feeling the same, the key objective is to keep everyone working and moving ahead.
The ability to inspire your team is great for focusing on the future goals however it’s even important at this moment forward. Recognize the work that everyone has committed and put all the effect into the team. Your job is to keep their spirits up and make sure that their work is appreciated.
