Dana Scully: A Short Story
It was early sunday morning, an apparently ordinary sunday, the sun had barely peeked his head over the horizon and there seemed to a peaceful air over Washington D.C. however this was no ordinary day for Dana Scully, today marked the first time in months that her sleep wasn’t interrupted by her impetuous partner waking her to drag her along on another wacky alien theory about extraterrestrials.

She laid in the longer than she normally did, tucked in the warmth of her covers she felt secure and safe. she started to plan what she would do with her day, she had a month worth of sex and the city recorded over dirty tapes she stole from mulder’s office, she wanted to take a long bath and have a glass of wine. She also had a pile of dirty laundry piling up but she still hasn’t found the time to put up her last load of laundry, she needed to grocery shopping and she still hadn’t called her mother like she promised she would a week ago. Her phone rang just as she felt the weight of the mundane tasks that needed to be done.
