With his invention of the Sky cube, a whole new meaning of art has been portrayed. Haskins had attended a lot of universities, but his passion for art drove him and thus teaching himself how to be an artist. Many artists draw their inspirations from many things such as experience, nature among others.
Wallace, on the other hand, drew his inspirations from surrealism, movement of light and space and finally minimalism. Artist such as Robert Irwin, Yves Klein, and James Terrell inspired him to continue with his passion for art. As an artist, his was to awaken a sense of wonder and excitement in his viewers.
David conducted a lot of experiments focusing on light, sound, time and space while still working with experts who helped evolve these experiments. These experts had particular expertise in fields such as physics, philosophy, ecology, and psychology.

The innocence of the wonders is what motivates Haskins to use the cube to bring the thought to his audience. For those fortunate enough to taste an experience with the Sky cube, it is evident that they will either remember an endless blue of a calm sunny day or will experience the angry gray of the storm seeing them in a different way altogether. For others, the gentle swilling of the clouds will attract them, simultaneously inspiring and mesmerizing them. The artistic style employed by the Sky cube, whichever it may be, seems to have a good and far catching effect that it instills to all the people who view and have experience with it as it demonstrates its works of
