In the article “The Impact Celebrities Have On Our Lives”, Deborah King explains that celebrities can both positive and negative impact on people, and I agree because some celebrities are bad influences to us most especially younger people, but other celebrities are good role models and bring a positive impact on people. Often times on celebrity news shows, they talk about bad things that celebrities have done like cheating on someone else, or even worse like doing drugs or assaulting someone, but I have also seen celebrities being good role models when they donate the money they win on some game show to a charity of their choice or by raising awareness for something like bullying. This demonstrates that some of your favorite celebrities may
not be as good of a person as you think, but some celebrities can also be positive influences depending what they have done to create a positive impact on us. It also means that not all celebrities are bad role models and have bad influences on us because there are good celebrities out there bringing a positive impact on us.
