Women are outraged by the infringement of their rights, and men are outraged by the rage of women. And that’s why everyone is blinded by their egoism. Equality is an ideal because for certain reason the division of roles based on sex persisted for a long time and because we are physically different and ,thus, have differentiated skills and capabilities.
Why did the division of roles based on sex happen? Because of the efficiency and productivity of labor. Indeed, one of the prominent economists, Adam Smith, says, “It is the great multiplication of the productions of all the different arts, in consequence of the division of labour, which occasions, in a well-governed society, that universal opulence which extends itself to the lowest ranks of the people.” ( ). In other words it means let everyone do what they are good at and capable of doing. The situation with profession is very similar. For example, if there is a cook and an architect, it will be foolish to let a cook build a house , and an architect make a dish.
