Sarah Ban Breathnach once said, “Those who live passionately teach us how to love. Those who love passionately teach us how to live.” Passion runs deep through everyone. No matter what people say passion is truly a part of the human race. We may not all recognize our passions at the same time, but eventually they will shine through us. Passion is when someone puts all their emotions, feelings, and thoughts together that become an excellent quality. The dictionary states that the word passion means, “A strong or extravagant fondness, enthusiasm, or desire for anything.” The official meaning is not exactly wrong, but some parts of the definition need to be changed. A person can show passion by putting what they possess into what they love. Although everyone has a passion, we do not all show it in the same way. For example, I have passion. Often times the word passion is taken as just having one meaning when it actually has multiple meanings to it. Passion does not come at the same time for everyone, and certainly does not come in the same way for everyone. Passion is like a true calling. When I first found my passion and what I wanted to do in life I was filled with joy. Along with that comes why passion is important.
Passion is an extremely important part of my life now and will still be in the future. Without passion where would I be today? Passion has caused me to want to strive to do better, and learn more about myself and my future career. Yes, I was a good student and helper before I realized what my passion is about, but now that I am starting to realize what my passion really is it has made me want to be more determined and do better.
