Definition of terms
For a clearer understanding of this study the following terms were defined conceptually and operationally.
Reproductive health- the right of men and women to be informed of and to have access to safe, effective, affordable and acceptable methods of fertility regulation of their choice, and the right of access to appropriate health care services that will enable women to go safely through pregnancy and childbirth and provide couples with the best chance of having a healthy infant. Reproductive health practices – the process by which methods or devices used to prevent pregnancy. For the purpose of this research Reproductive health practices is a term used to refer to adopted reproductive behaviors as recommended by health educators to reduce the risk of unintended pregnancy and transmission of HIV and other STI. Reproductive activity- commonly denotes the insertion and thrusting of a male's reproductive organ into a female's reproductive organ for the purposes of sexual pleasure or reproduction. Reproductive activity, referred in this study, a pleasurable activity in which a man, using the stiffest part of his pelvic region, repeatedly thrusting into the perineal region of a female until both partners feels satisfied
College student- someone who has been admitted to a college or university. An informant is defined as any person who is knowledgeable of what the researcher is researching and is willing to talk to the researcher mabini colleges- An institution of higher learning that grants the bachelor's degree in liberal arts or science or both.
