Dehumanization Of Slavery

Dehumanization of slavery was not only reflected by the inhumane acts placed on slaves but through the characteristics and economic toll that it had on slaveholders and non- slaveholding whites. Slavery is a broad term that can be broken down into many different aspects. It can be interpreted into factors that allow certain individuals to see it at a different angle than others might. Overall, the agreeance that slavery victimized certain groups of people is exemplified throughout history. First and foremost, it is obvious to see that the main group that is victimized from slavery is the slave itself. Starting in 1640, the turning point in American history, the Dutch started to bring over indentured servants to America. An indentured
