Deloitte Personal Statement
I have learned from the career center website of Texas A & M University that Deloitte is looking for Advisory Consultant- Technology Risk intern. My goal is to pursue a career in Data Analytics and Deloitte is a pioneer in using analytical decision making into business processes. The knowledge I will gain as a summer intern in your company will give me a perfect foundation.
I realized my passion for analytics during my tenure as coordinator of the robotics club in my undergraduate degree. I used statistical tools such as excel to collect and condense feedback data from various events and workshops. I presented this data in the form of charts and graphs to my team and came up with strategies to attract students towards robotics. I further …show more content…
During this time, I was able to perform consistently and repeatedly the whole range of functions associated with software development. In addition to that I proactively developed insight into the issues and data challenges faced by my team. I was also instrumental in streamlining many processes, this led to reduction of manual work and overhead expenses.
Furthermore, on a personal level I am quick learner who is adaptable and comfortable in dealing with a dynamic work environment. I can work alone or with a team, manage my own priorities and work with minimal supervision.
My strong IT and technical skills, gained while studying and working will be instrumental for this internship as I can advise and assist the technical teams with development decisions and processes. Right now I am at an exciting and important stage of my career where I am enthusiastic about learning new practices and building a foundation for a successful career. Working with a reputed company like Deloitte will be perfect start for me.
