Demonstration Speech:
Origami Fortune Teller Game
Specific Purpose: I will give a speech on how to make an Origami Fortune Teller Game.
Introduction:
I. How many of you remember playing the Fortune Teller game when you were younger?
II. My friends and I used to play with these all the time when I was growing up and I also showed my kids how to make them.
III. Some of you may know it as a “Cootie Catcher”. But really it is a form of Origami.
Transitional Sentence: Origami is an ancient art form of paper folding and today I am going to demonstrate and show all of you how to make a Fortune Teller.
Body:
I. First, you must start with a perfectly square piece of paper.
A. If your paper is rectangle in shape, like your standard 8 1/2 by 11 paper, there’s a trick you can use to make it square.
1. Take the top right corner of your paper and fold it down where the edges are touching.
2. Then you can either fold and tear or cut the excess remainder of paper from the bottom to make your square.
II. Crease your square evenly into fourths.
A. Fold the paper in half and then fold it in half again.
B. Then unfold the paper. You will have four equal sections clearly marked with a distinct center point.
III. Bring in each of the four corners folding them over evenly into the middle of the square, using the creases as your guide.
IV. Crease the square in half again and flip the paper over.
V. Bring in each of the four corners again, folding them over evenly towards the center point.
VI. Then fold the square in half again.
A. You now have four slits in the paper where your fingers will go.
Transitional Sentence: Now that our Origami folding is done, we are ready to put the finishing touches on our Fortune Teller.
I. On each of the outer four sections, we will designate a color.
A. You can be as creative as you want here with making a design.
II. Open the fortune teller up one level and the inside sections will each be designated with a number (1-8).

Disclosing patient information to a third party, without a patient’s consent or a court order is considered a breach of confidentiality. Legal liability for a breach of confidentiality covers a broader spectrum than ethical guidelines, which lend to doing what is morally right. Confidentiality in nursing comes with an ethical need for creating rapport with patients. Trust established facilitates increased communication and comfort for discussing personal information. There are some exceptions in terms of patient confidentiality; they are ethically and legally justified as a result of social considerations that are overriding. Similarly, professionals are obligated to report suspected child abuse to authorities (Maradiegue, 2003). There are some laws in the United States where it is required to report particular infectious diseases, in efforts to protect community health. (Nathanson, 2000).…
