The DSM-5 reveals that the overlapping symptoms between ADHD and depression include both distractibility and low frustration tolerance. Many individuals report impaired ability to think, concentrate or make even minor decisions. They may appear easily distracted or complain of memory difficulties which cause individuls to become misdiagnosed. ADHD is characterized by a pattern of behavior, present in multiple settings (e.g., school and home), that can result in performance issues in social, educational, or work settings
