First of all the South was just learning how to accept slaves as normal people and so the North knew they would have bits of trouble with people not wanting change. The offering to that was, the North sent the Northern army up ahead to the South to kind of just keep guard that no kkk member or a racist civilian was mistreating the freed slaves. As predicted the South did start having trouble with how they were running things so the North came in with advice on things that they could do to keep everything in place however, the South kept acting as if everything was alright, and that they did not need help because everything was ok! After days then came weeks, after weeks then came months, after months then cames years of the North trying to reason with the South that they could not keep running things the way they did however, the South denied it and soon left the North to just
