Describe The Similarities And Differences Between Conservatives And Liberals

To start this off, conservatives and liberals are quite opposite of eachother. Liberals are into new ideas and fixing things as Conservatives are more traditional and don’t like change. Liberals believe that everyone should work together and rely on the government to fix their problems, on the other hand conservatives believe that things should be kept personal and problems should be solved on a personal level. Conservatives believe in a strong national security because without it we are open to be hit. Liberals think we invest too much money into our military and social security and believe we should make budget cuts. I personally think that I lean more on the liberal side, that is, if I had to choose a side. I think that the conservative
way of thinking is very tunnel visioned and stubborn, whereas a liberal's way of thinking is more open and accepting of new ideas. I have many ideas within the science world which conservatives wouldn’t care too much about my ideas with new power supplies and space advancement. Based on our discussion in class I have learned that conservatives are more for easy power that is bad for the ecosystem, that would be for example coal, oil, fossil fuels, really anything that burns. I don’t support these forms of power because they are going to eventually catch up to us and we will be in the world's debt. I have taken multiple surveys to test what side I would fall on, a list of those surveys would be (Political Typology Quiz, BrainFall, and GoToQuiz). I have noticed that I am more liberal on economic issues but a little bit more conservative with social issues. I think liberals act a little bit more like babies when they talk socially, But Economically they are intelligent. One prodigious topic is Global Warming/Climate Change. My opinion on this topic is that global warming is a real thing and is a problem. Liberals would side with me on this topic because they believe the scientists who agree on this. Conservatives would disagree because they say that there is no actual scientific evidence of any difference in the atmosphere by humans. Science has shown that we have brought up the carbon dioxide levels from our emissions and it has shown from studies that water levels have risen and temperatures have been changing. There are also dead zones in the ocean from atmospheric change, therefore, that makes me a liberal point of view on this topic.
