My job gives me a good opportunity to develop the communication techniques I already have and to reveal the ones I never knew about. For some time it was not very easy, because making a person interested in your product is not a simple thing. You can make one wrong step and you loose your client. I have been doing it for two month already and this job helps me to perfect my skills and I might even say – to form some kind of business talent. Talking about the experiences my job brings I would also point out that it develops self-confidence.…

When I was a kid, I couldn’t wait until I was old enough to get a job. Sure, it would be a good way to make friends and learn how to prepare myself for the real world, but for me, it was mostly about making my own money. Having to ask my parents for cash every time I needed some annoyed me, mostly because they’d always say no. Every time they did, I would always whine and complain about how different things would be when I had money of my own, how I would never ask them for anything, and so on. This wasn’t entirely true, but at the time it seemed like a smart thing to say. I must’ve applied to dozens of jobs, and when I finally got the email telling me that I needed to come down for an interview, I was excited. Sure, the job was only seasonal, but hey, at least I was finally going to have my own cash.…

When I started my internship at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center (KCMC), which lies in the foothills of snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro in Moshi, Tanzania, I developed my clinical hands-on experience. I helped diagnose and manage a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions, from the very common to unusual and complicated cases. I embraced every opportunity not only for patient care, but also the development of my clinical problem solving skills as well as presentation. As days went by, learning became easier. while discussing cases with my colleagues, residents and attending, I came to understand that it is impractical to know everything in medicine, but that built my confidence to improve my basic steps in the management of…
