As watching the clips of Superman Returns, Superman is an official hero in this category because of his growing maturity as he ages and the knowledge of his super power. By analyzing the Superman's history, I think that he is just an alien, who has same emotions as any person on the earth. Same as any other kid at a young age, he needed the parents, who could teach him how important is the lives of all the people and to be a good person, and more experiences as he became an adult. “Who is the man that would risk his neck for his brother man?” Many have heard these lyrics for over 30 years from the theme song of a very well-known African American detective movie. The answer is Shaft, John Shaft to be exact. The 2000 version starring Samuel L. Jackson proved to be just as good as the first. Although, this Shaft happened to be the nephew of the original one, played by Richard Roundtree, Samuel L. Jackson did not disappoint. Shaft showed even more cleverness, wittiness and street smarts as he made it his quest to solve his latest case. John Shaft proves that he takes no mess and will go out of his way to bring justice to the ones who deserve it. Shaft had grown up in the inner city and learned the ins and outs of his town and it helped him succeed as a detective. Shaft does it all from handling local drug dealers who want to corrupt kids to arresting a racist male who killed another and almost got away with it. He’s well-known in his town and everybody knows he doesn’t take any mess from anybody.…
I feel that one of the most important skill that a police officer should have is good observation skills. It is important that law enforcement officers have good observation skills because they are essential in an investigation, every day duties, encounters with criminals and the determination of a situation. According to Dahl (2002) enforcing a law could not work if it was not for perception. Its entirety structure is based on perception. Infringement of the law are watched. Violators of the law are watched. Examinations are led exclusively by the power of perception. Advancement of this skill must be a policeman's prime focus. Police perception is essential both on and off duty. Numerous captures are made off duty by perception. Scenes, activities of people which would go unnoticed would be noticed by an officer who is constantly putting this skill into practice (Dahl, 2002).…
The detective agency has been around in the United States since 1850 thanks to Allan Pinkerton. Eleven years later, Zebulon Brockway created the first parole system. The world’s finger classification system was used in 1892, by Juan Vucetich while working for the Central Police Department in La Plata, Argentina. He first used it to identify a bloody fingerprint from a double homicide of children. Then in 1908, Lola G. Baldwin was hired as the first woman police officer. Also in 1908, Charles Bonaparte created the FBI predecessor, whom argued for a team of hand-picked “special agents.” In 1920, a non-profit, unbiased organization, called American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), was created to defend the Constitutional rights and liberties of all Americans. Three decades after…
