matter the Articles of Confederation appeared to care for, was the occupation and control of the Northwest Territory that was currently being housed by the Native Americans. The main and whole purpose of the Constitution was the protection of the rights, freedoms, and popular liberties of the people, proper legislative separation, proper establishment of government, and the upholding of a constitutional law. The Constitution installed and established a separation of branches consisting of an Executive, Legislative, and Judiciary Branch. With the Constitution being in place, governmental powers could be evenly dispersed between the people, states, and government. The Antifederalists did not have to fear the government having too much supremacy in powers. The Constitution also started the beginnings and formation of proper representation for the future for the people of America (Divine, Breen, Williams, Gross, Brands, 2017). What important amendment in the Constitution has helped to make America what it is today?
