Base on their nutritional intake, they lack several dairy products, healthy meal, protein, and grain. They do not eat grain, bread, diary product, or diversity of vegetables. They
are consuming less calories and I don’t think some of those foods have high yielding energy in them. They also eat less balance meal and their diet is lacking a lot of nutritious food. They intake too much salt which can cause diarrhea and other health problems. Due to their food intake, their cell will not be able to get enough protein and they will have to make their own.
According to Korea.net, the fact about this topic is that when babies are born, they use white steamed rice cakes to mark their lives as a symbol. This is definitely true almost all culture have their own meaning and ceremony which symbolize their tradition. They believe steamed red and rice cake help them fight against evil. Whereas, Koreans ferment their food because is it has a home cook flavor, and it last longer when they ferment their food. I do not see where fermenting food can make food last longer.
I would instruct them to healthy food for now and find a way to plan a better way to eat, and they also need to just their diet so they can room for fruit or vegetables. I would encourage them to eat high yield energy to promote their body cell to growth and repair. They do not necessarily have to take all of their traditional food off their diet, they need to add nutritious food to it.
