Soccer is played by approximately 270 million people in the world. That is four percent of the global human population. With that being said, soccer is the most popular sport in the world. In every sport there are injuries and in soccer there's no exception. Injuries are natural in sports and although there are ways to try to avoid them, it is not always possible. A Lanfranc injury is due to if the bones in the midfoot are broken or the ligaments that support the midfoot are torn. This injury is often mistaken for a simple sprain because a twist of the foot could cause it. You can’t just walk it off like most coaches would say to his player you have to take care of it and it could take a few months and could also require surgery for it to heal properly. You can hurt the midfoot by a slip or fall or in my case just walking on a flat surface. It also can come from a major accident. You see this injury a lot in football and soccer. The midfoot area is comprised of the joints and ligaments in the middle of the foot. Specialized ligaments hold the bones in this area together like puzzle pieces to maintain the arch of the foot. When the ligaments and/or bones in this area are injured, they may shift out of place. (footcareMD)…

Last OP I talked about concussions and the effect they have on people’s brains. Other injuries can affect the way a certain muscle can work. When you break a bone in your leg or tear something you need to do physical therapy. While you do physical therapy it can take a long time to build up the muscle you didn’t use. This is not good, if you keep playing sports that muscle will be stronger, but the downside is that the ligament may be more prone to being injured. Many players come back from a serious injury and then do very well. One instance was when Peyton Manning came back from neck surgery to set many records in the next season. This year Peyton Manning is sorely underperforming and was injured and isn’t doing well. There have been stories where he has immense…

Neda was a free spirited individual who was against, and even rebelled against the complete government control of Iran who unfortunately lost her life because of it. As the filmed mentioned a few times, she was a rebel. In my eyes she was not a rebel in a negative way, but a rebel in a way that she wanted to be able to show her individuality, her own personal style, and did not want to be under the complete control and dictatorship of the Iranian regime. She stood for independence, individuality, and a free-spirit lifestyle that we are so very fortunate of in this country. She unfortunately lost her life because of her desire for independence as a woman, in my opinion she was assassinated, it was not just a random act of violence that claimed her life but rather a cold blooded murder! I believe that she was targeted! As the film stated she was an extremely beautiful woman, and beautiful woman like Neda are…
