The story reflects back on the time Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat to a white man on a segregated bus back in 1955 and as of December the 1st was imprisoned for the “Bus Boycott”. She says “you must never be fearful about what you are doing when it is right” Which caused me to think it was unfair and the laws of people being somewhat higher than others were made without a consulting agreement. But in saying that it caused a lot of grief that affected everyone white and black.
In my personal opinion she should of had rights over a man that hadn’t had as hard of a day working standing up as much as Rosa did. I think this because man should have respect for any woman working throughout the day standing up.The fact that she got imprisoned for not giving her seat to a more younger man makes me feel mad with what the society was like, at the same time i am glad that as the people of today we’ve developed our equal ways towards one another. I disagree that that is a form of discrimination/racism as it doesn't put others down or show any dominance between the two races. So i agree with rosa Parks in saying that it needs to be stopped and she is one of the reasons that it is like this today. “I would like to be known as a person who is concerned about freedom and equality and justice and prosperity for all people.” This quote shows how strongly she is for this
