According to Google definition, discrimination is described as “the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex”. It is also important to note that prejudice is one of the synonyms of discrimination; therefore, it would be safe to conclude that there is not much difference between discrimination and prejudice. However, prejudice is described on Google as “preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience”. Last but not least, stereotype on Google is defined as “a widely held but fixed and oversimplified image or idea of a particular type of person or thing”.
