According to Google definition, discrimination is described as “the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex”. It is also important to note that prejudice is one of the synonyms of discrimination; therefore, it would be safe to conclude that there is not much difference between discrimination and prejudice. However, prejudice is described on Google as “preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience”. Last but not least, stereotype on Google is defined as “a widely held but fixed and oversimplified image or idea of a particular type of person or thing”. Discrimination, stereotypes, and prejudice are rather a state of surprising events which lead to heated arguments among the prey and the predator, students, public in general, politicians, and even sometimes scholars.
How does one initiates to end prejudice, discrimination, and stereotype? A question that has been asked numerous times but sadly there has been no solid solution to it. Perhaps, a good beginning to end such defamatory acts would be by asking oneself that which acts are considered as discriminatory in the first place and why, what role does prejudice play and why does it play in creating gender and racial discrepancies, and most importantly, why is it excusable to base decisions on the gender or the sex of the person and the ethnicity and the race of the person to be
