My Career Pathway:-
2013: After qualifying the Level 3 Diploma through YMCA Training and Sunbeams Day Nursery, I shall use websites such as, www.sentrain.net or www.ukopencollege.co.uk, to apply for a Special Needs Level 2 courses.
2014: Post Qualification of the Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce and the Special Needs Level 2 course, I shall work within a childcare setting for a further two years; either at Sunbeams Day Nursery, or after applying for jobs within the NHS nurseries or local day nurseries.
2012: I shall gain a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce using the facilities, resources and guidance available at YMCA Training and through a work placement within Sunbeams Day Nursery.
2017: After passing the foundation degree in ‘Healthcare Play Specialism’, I must visit the website www.hpset.org.uk to register with the Hospital Play Staff Education Trust in order to gain a licence to practice.
2015: Using www.nhscareers.nhs.uk as guidance, apply for a Foundation Degree in Healthcare Play Specialism. After acceptance, complete any given tasks and work placements needed.
2017: After gaining a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce, Level 2 Special Education course and a Foundation Degree in Healthcare Play Specialism, and registering with the Hospital Play Staff Education Trust, I will then apply for Hospital Play Specialist positions within the NHS and hospices within my city of residence.
