Various issues are influencing corruption in the society. The disappointment of the value system in the society contributes to the great level of corruption. In some developing countries today, the rich individuals are adored and celebrated notwithstanding the source (s) of their wealth. This is identical to the 'get rich quick' pattern among the youths nowadays. Many youths are now eager and desperate to make money and leave affluence life without hard work.
Poor proper rearing of individuals by parents and guardians influences corruption in the society. Many parents and guardians are unsuccessful in drilling discipline into their children at a young age hence pushing them into various corruptions when they grow up.
Educational organizations are not helping matter. Programs of education system of some countries are unreliable. Discipline has collapsed in many organizations. Situations where organizations fail to teach discipline in pupils / students cannot but encourage indiscipline of their outputs.
The effects of corruption cannot be overstressed. Appearance and position of countries whose citizens involve in corruption are often devastated at international level Instability in the provision of social facilities often results from corruption. The money that are meant for provision of structures and facilities are diverted into private pockets, it will lead to shortage and deterioration of structures and facilities in the nation.
Ultimately, corruption has been assisting other corruptions like armed robbery, prostitution, hugger among others in the society. This is so when money meant for the growth of the society is unfocused.
In view of high level corruption in the society today, restriction should attract the attention of government, parents and others that are contributing to it. Government should make and enforce law(s) against it. Those caught in the act should be tried
