Disney World Vacation
About ten years ago, my parents decided to take a family vacation to Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. At the time, my family was hosting an exchange student from Germany named Claudia. My grandmother was also invited to join us on our trip to Florida. When we arrived at the Indianapolis International Airport, my brother forgot one of his bags in the car. He put up a big fight about going back to get it, and he caused us to miss our flight. We had to wait four more hours for another flight down to Orlando, but we eventually made it to our destination.
When we arrived in Orlando, we had to stop at an Enterprise shop because my mom wanted to rent a car for the week we planned to be down there. If I remember correctly, she ended up renting a strange looking convertible. But since there were six of us on the trip, we either had to cram in the car or someone had to stay back. And since I was only eight years old at the time, I always got a spot in the car.
The hotel we stayed at was one of the nicest I’ve ever seen in my entire life. We ended up getting a two-room suite on the top floor with a wonderful view of the city. It also had a massive breakfast area that had “All You Can Eat Cereal.” The room had a bedroom with two giant beds, a lounge room with a bar, and a kitchen in between. Somehow, my parents let my brother claim the lounge room for himself, so my exchange sister, my mom, my dad, my grandma, and I all had to sleep in one bedroom. Sleeping in the same room as my grandma was torture because her snoring was so loud and obnoxious. But I eventually got to sleep in the other room for the remaining few nights.
On the first day in Disney World, my dad and I went on all of the Mountain rides like Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and Space Mountain. My favorite was Space Mountain because the ride is inside, and there are no lights so you cannot see at all. I also won a stuffed dog at a game stand. Unfortunately, that was

When we got in the car and started to drive I was very confused on the fact we were not going to an airport. On the eight hour car ride there it took my family around an hour and a half to explain that we were not going to Florida.…
