The book Anthem was written by Ayn Rand. Equality 7-2521 is the main character. The book takes place in a town where there is a bunch of factions and you are assigned your own faction and soulmate. Equality follows the certain rules of his “job” and the town. Equality found entrance of a tunnel and went into it. The main character was in the tunnel and experimented and created the light bulb then took it to the Home of the Scholars and the people didn't accept his invention so he ran away. ‘We are one in all and all in one. Both Thomas and Equality are alike because at the beginning of the books they were pristine and throughout the books they changed and started breaking the laws. One difference of the two books are that the endings are different because at the end Anthem ends and tells you what Equality is going to do and The Maze Runner stops at cliffhanger. Clearly in both of the books Equality And Thomas Problem solve.
In the end, both of these distopian literature's have several similarities.
