Diversity And Inclusion In Wake Forest University

Diversity and inclusion are two key characteristics that hold a greater level of significance to me personally. I am a strong believer in diversity, diversity is about bringing together people from different cultures and life experiences, which exposes everyone to vital the different cultures and makes the students of Wake Forest University more well-rounded citizens when they graduate. The inclusion of the various stakeholders is vital because the general goal and responsibility of the university is to create a community that will foster a positive culture where education through the classroom, life events, and athletics will enhance all stakeholders that comes in contact with Wake Forest University. The inclusion of different people, vendors,
students, and stakeholders in Wake Forest University will only enhance the performance of the university, and is the key component to ensuring the mission of Wake Forest University is achieved.
As a staff member, I will champion diversity by reaching out to the students, faculty, and stakeholders of the university to ensure that we are providing diverse events to engage and educate all parties to the university. While basketball games and sporting events will be the main focus of the job duties, the planning and staging of events within the facility such as concerts, conventions, performances, trade shows, athletic events, corporate, and other special events will provide a diverse set of events for the stakeholders of Wake Forest University. In addition inclusion will be a priority, I plan to get the community involved in attending, preparing, and taking ownership in the events that are held in their community.

I am seeking a full time position in the facility management industry, which was my major in college. The opportunity to pursue this position had a great effect on my reasoning for seeking to leave my current position.
