Diversity Management Theory
This paper covers diversity management theory and how to affect my academic experience. This paper discusses how it is important to implement a diversity management. It is important to help and serve others when they need it. The goal is very important in my life. If a person has a goal and reaches it, they will be successful. The conclusion of this topic is that management is important and this feature is necessary for everyone that is successful and reaches his or her goal.
You will meet people of all races, religions, and ethnic backgrounds. Most people implement a diversity management necessary for life. If a person manages diversity incorrectly it could lead to negative influences that will affect them. If the environment is positive it will lead to higher performances and great individual and team morale at the work place. When a person manages diversity it also leads to interaction with different area at work. Such as using creativity, global understanding, and new language skills will create more customer and employee loyalty. These are many ways people can handle diversity.

Pages’ diversity prediction and diversity trumps ability theorems are based on the predicting, dynamic behaviors of groups in the process of problem solving, decision-making, innovating, and managing complexity. Diversity management is a new theory of organizational management, based on the observation that many organizational leaders are not equipped to manage the diverse populations of the current workplaces and marketplaces (Thomas, 1990). I believe diversity management will play a more important role in the workplace. Roosevelt Thomas on Redefining Diversity, broadens the general knowledge of diversity within the workplace and our everyday lives.     In read the Barriers and Challenges to Managing Diversity there was several problems present at Cityside Financial Services. One the problem was how the Sales Division was divided. When the investor banker brought the company it was mostly white. Two different units were created in sales which one catered to rich clients and other one serviced the local community. Knowing that neighborhood was once predominantly white things has changed over the years. Know that the neighborhood is mostly black Cityside thought it would be a great idea to have African-American employee mostly on the Retail area. Also, there was problem in hiring mostly women and black employees from the community. In my opinion, just because the neighborhood in mostly blacks it doesn’t mean that your staff has to be that way.
