Do Animals Have Any Rights? Should They Be Used For Research?
If you walked in a childrens hospital and seen kids sick and on the verge of dying, will you kill ten rats to save those children? is it animal research or animal cruelty? There are over a million animals who die each year such as rats, monkeys, rabbits and so far because of experimentation, and for fashion but there are millions of people’s lives being saved due to animal research. Should animals be used for research? Do animals have no rights? When you see people walking around with fur coats and fur boots or fur bags or fur gloves do those animals that are dying for fashion not have any rights? 1. Animal Rights 2. No one with a right mind wants to kill an animal for no reason. If you walk into a childrens hospital and see those sick kids would you kill ten rats to save those children, most definitely you would because it is the right thing to do. Many animals might get killed doing so but we would also be saving more human lives than there is animals being killed. On the other hand in china and in other parts of the world and other parts of the country where there are huge numbers of animals being killed for fashion, do those animals have any rights?
Animal Rights The real question is what the phrase “Animal Rights” actually means. In my dictionary animal rights means the protection of animals against cruelty. There is no reason why animals should not be entitled to the same basic, fundamental protections that humans have like, the right to live and the right against all torture, physical or mental. There is overwhelming evidence that animals deserve these rights, that guaranteeing these rights is feasible, and that acknowledging these rights is necessary in order to halt the unimaginable barbarism of which many
