Domestic Violence At Home Case Study
6/6/17 worker went to the home of kathy emery and Raymond Arvin. Worker was greeted at the door by kathy. Worker walked into the living room and sat down to speak with the couple. Worker spoke with kathy first. Worker spoke about Zoey because Kathy's main concern was services for Zoey. Worker spoke about getting the family involved in family counseling.
Kathy is doing well with no counseling and is seeing her psychologist in July. Kathy goes to renew paperwork in august. Worker questioned about staying in the current home. Kathy yelled for Raymond. Raymond informed kathy they were staying in their current home. Worker was going to reapply for visitation in July at the home because all the service Zoey is involved in.

Worker provided Raymond his psychological evaluation recommendations and centerstone mental health evaluations recommendations. Raymond does not understand why he has to do domestic violence. Worker informed Raymond because it wa some of the recommendations for centerstone. The case would go no where without him involved in services that were recommended. Worker let Raymond read over the court report. Kathy stated the abuse where Zoey urinated on herself was done years ago in rolla. Worker spoke with Raymond about is discharge from anger management because domestic violence recommendations would better suite Raymond. Raymond has missed 1/2 of the visits Raymond did not attend for anger management. Raymond states that he missed appointments due to no transportation. He does not understand why he must do domestic violence. Raymond missed two appointments with probation but was able to make one appointment in May. July 6th is his next appointment. Worker discusses bills with the couple. The cupola is struggling to pay electric bills. They cannot used Illinois energy help due to their bill is in Raymond grandmothers name.     It was seemingly a normal quiet night on the day of March 12th 2011, until Virginia Rasnick attempted to phone her husband several times with no response.     Most of the time the neighbor would come to Berry’s house to watch the child. On November 6, 1998 Jamie needed to go to a meeting. Jamie had not talked to Berry that day because he was very busy.
