Donald Trump Against Immigrants
A conflict that I recently encountered is a conflict in the news between Donald Trump against Mexican and Muslim immigrants. Mr. Trump has been very tough on immigration. In his speech, he said:

I will build a great wall — and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me — and I’ll build them very inexpensively. (Digg, 2016). I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. (Digg, 2016). Mark my words. (Digg, 2016).

Mr. Trump has been an explosive divisive force concerning his political agenda on immigration. I think this is bad for his election and candidacy. The great wall will certainly involve costs to be built and the expulsion of immigrants will reduce labor force. Many immigrants

Trump should not only blame Mexico for all crime activities resulting from illegal immigration such as drug traffickers, gangs, and cartels. Many of the crimes that America has seen has not only be committed by illegal immigrants. There has been similar cases of rapes, shootings, robberies, and killings in the news involving both black and white Americans as well. Even if Mr. Trump kick all them out, this will not solve all the problems. Some of these illegal immigrants pay taxes and work hard to provide for their family. In fact, the undocumented immigrants leave their own country, Mexico, in search of better life, job opportunities, and safety. The American dream is the driving force of melting pot and HB2. I think Mr. Trump is being a little bit unfair with undocumented immigrants because many of the American citizens are born of undocumented immigrants. By enforcing mass deportation, Mr. Trump is going to divide families. His attitude against undocumented could eventually result in more hatred against him and the country itself. By cancelling visas, the relationships between the United States and Mexico can be jeopardized. The Mexican government may decide to cut economic ties with the United …show more content…

Will Donald Trump’s wall be as magnificent as the Great Wall of China or can Trump even achieve the construction of the his great wall? Last Week Tonight with John Oliver is a television program that covers current political news and current events with humor. In the segment, “Border Wall” (cite), Oliver discusses Donald Trump’s idea of his border wall in Mexico. With satirical support and evidence, it is questionable whether or not Trump’s wall is achievable. Considering all the reasons Trumps has decided to propose a wall versus the cost and requirements needed to build the wall, it is concluded that Trump’s wall is inefficient and will provided no useful services, but instead create problematic situations. Therefore, Oliver arguing that Trump’s great wall isn’t as competent as he makes it seem.…

On October 26, 2006, U.S. President George W. Bush signed the Secure Fence Act of 2006 to help secure the US. Mexican border to decrease drug trafficking and security threats. The act mandated the construction of almost 700 miles of barrier fences along the Mexican border. The act also appropriated the expansion of checkpoints, vehicle barriers, and technological systems designed to monitor the expanse of the boundary but per the department of homeland security, this promise had not been kept, just 5 percent of the double-layer fencing is complete, only 36.3 miles. Under those circumstances, the boldest promises made by the president-elect, Donald Trump, as well as one of his first promises, was building a wall along the US-Mexican border.…

Henry Payne's cartoon "For Illegal Immigrants by Illegal Immigrants" shows us the Irony of Donald Trump wanting to build a Wall/ Fence, to keep illegal immigrants out of the united states. Payne's cartoon is ironic because Trump wants to get rid of immigrants but yet immigrants are the ones that do the dirty jobs other legal people don’t want to do. Trump wants illegal immigrants to build the very wall that will keep the out of a country that offers liberty and many opportunities for all kinds of people. Payne’s cartoon has bias against the fact that Donald Trump Wants to build a wall to keep immigrants out of the United States. Payne’s cartoon will help my paper because it tells people that are in favor of the wall being built that without…

¨Life is limitless and dreamers of Mexico cross the border they can't be denied the entry to America to find a bright future”. This statement shows that a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico will not help anything just cause more problems and harm millions of people. If a wall is built it will most likely won't solve anything to prevent Mexicans or other immigrants coming to America. Additionally, the wall does not keep out terrorist or drug smugglers. Also, a border wall between the U.S and Mexico can´t protect American jobs or reduce crime. Instead, it will waste resources like public takes and the money to pay the guard to watch the fence. It will also be take an enormous amount of money to build the wall and to surveillance it.…

Since the beginning of Trump's campaign, he has boldly said his beliefs on illegal immigration and deportation. This has caused an increase of white extremist groups to come to the surface. Before, many of these groups were thought of as having very exaggerated views on immigration, but now that their views have been talked about so often by Trump, this is not the case. Many of the white supremacist groups believe that they have been getting more support and attention since Trump's candidacy. He has given people who seemed to be drowned out from the political system a drive to stand up for the issues they believe need to be changed. The organizations believe that Trump has shown the world that we should be talking about things that are often…

“You’re a liar” said one of Trump’s supporter. Since after Donald J. Trump sworn into the office, many of his supporter are outraged because Trump did not his promises during the campaign. During the 2016 election, Donald Trump’s campaign fought fiercely against Hilary Clinton’s campaign. To win the election Donald Trump promised “to build a great, great wall on our southern border” and “have Mexico pay for that wall.” Because of his strong promise, he gets people in electoral college to vote for him, but soon after he got in the office he disappointed them by making us (the taxpayer) pay for the wall. The second promise that Donald Trump made during his campaign is bring the coal mining jobs back; he said “I’m going to be the greatest jobs…

The people on the Liberal or Progressive side of the political spectrum are most outraged over the Muslim and refugee ban, the building of the wall between Mexico and the USA, and the Key Stone and Dakota Access Pipeline revival. The Muslim and refugee ban, as well as the Wall, are enacted on the discriminatory belief that all Muslims are terrorists and that all Mexicans are rapists or thieves. The ban of Muslims and refugees is only directed at the Middle Eastern countries that Trump has no business ties to, which is a little odd. Why not ban all Muslims? On the other hand, the wall is estimated to cost between 12 and 15 billion dollars. This wall is pointless. Why not direct this large sum of money to actually helping the American people? Trump could improve education, healthcare, and many other things. Trump has and will waste billions of dollars just to be racist and to benefit his business…

Some of the candidates think that there is an issue with immigration today which can only be solved by putting an immediate stop to illegal immigration and drastically reducing the number of legal immigrants allowed in the country. However I believe this would only create more problems for the United States. Many people claim that immigrants are stealing the jobs of hardworking Americans, but I disagree. If we forcibly removed all of the illegal immigrants from our country, not only would that cause a sizable international dilemma, but we would lose a large portion of the blue collar labor force. The fact of the matter is that immigrants do jobs that Americans feel they are too good for. By removing immigrants, we would only create a gap in the labor force because Americans buy-in-large feel entitled to well paid white collar jobs. In my opinion, Trump can talk about removing the Muslims and building his wall, but that would only create more problems for the United States as a whole. Immigrants play a large role in the labor force of this country and have since the Gilded…

Trump thinks these ridiculous things are what’s right for our country, but it goes against everything that our country stands for. He wants to keep people out who are contributing to our country’s growth, while Hillary on the other hand wanted to do the opposite. She wanted to introduce a plan that gives immigrants coming into the United states a a easy and quick pathway to citizenship. According to her website, she has states that, “As president, she will work to fix our broken immigration system and stay true to our fundamental American values: that we are a nation of immigrants, and we treat those who come to our country with dignity and respect—and that we embrace immigrants, not denigrate them.” (Clinton 3) She was so determined to do this, that she vowed to make it happen within her first 100 days in office. Clinton has stated many times whether it was on her website, in an interview, or on live tv that she does NOT want to tear families apart. What she wanted was to bring in millions of hardworking people to strengthen our…

I am Keith Marquez, I am a ninth grade student attending Windsor High School in California. I am writing to you as I have an issue with your policies on immigration. My mother had to immigrate to the United States from Mexico. I know first hand how it is like to be born to immigrants and she is anything but a criminal. I believe the immigration laws you plan to put in place should be less harsh and only convicted criminals should be deported. No one should be forced to leave the country if they are contributing to the society by working. No one in Mexico wants to come to the United States, they are forced to by terrible living conditions and a strive to have a better life for their family. The wall you plan to build is not needed and I believe…

“The Fight Over Immigration” is mainly about the dispute people are having around immigration. The article first communicates on how Trump is largely targeting terrorists and immigrants. Trump's views, therefore, makes Americans and Trump disagree on immigration policies. Though this has not the only time this has happened, America has debated immigration since its beginning. Though consequently, some Americans dislike immigrants but laws encourage immigration. Furthermore, US face immigration issues with the exclusion acts. On the other hand exclusion acts are still a problem to the US. During the presidential race, Clinton and Trump debated over immigration. This was about sending undocumented immigrants…
